Subaru of America reported record sales totaling 46,598 vehicles for the month of June 2016 with a 5.1% gain over June 2015. Subaru also reported its year to date 2.6% increase in sales over the same timeframe in 2015 of a total of 279,458 vehicles sold. June is now marked as the 28th consecutive month of over 40,000 vehicles sold for the company.
Senior Vice President of Sales, Jeff Walters noted: “We can be very happy with our half-year performance which will set us up well for the second half of 2016.” President and COO of Subaru of America, Inc., Thomas J. Doll added: “With increased availability of Legacy and Outback models over the next six months of the year, we can expect that our sales will increase even more in the second half of 2016.”
