The Chrysler 300 has a grille of more than five hundred functional and decorative chrome vertical bars. The grille is framed by a series of headlights and corner lamps. The headlamps sweep back and up from the grille. Also, the turn signals on each side are located just below the headlights.

The Chrysler 300 has sharp, angular front and rear fascia, which help emphasize the body's strong presence. The front fascia features a new four-lamp headlamp design that includes an amber turn signal lamp in the center of each headlamp.

The wheelbase on the Chrysler 300 is longer than the Dodge Magnum and the Chrysler Town & Country. The new rear suspension turns the chassis rotation to an angle of 23 degrees, which helps reduce lift by as much as 50% on rear wheels.

The electronically controlled four-wheel disc brakes, with power assist, can decelerate the 300 from 0 to 9 mph in 16 s. The wheel discs are 15" in diameter and are the largest ever used on an American car.
